So I bought this new t-shirt called “talk to the butt”. I saw it on facebook from the east bay rabbit society. I think it is pretty cool, and fun. Just my way of saying “don’t talk to me”

So in order to fish in the bay, you have to get the following items. A sport fishing license, then you get a fishing permit for lake chabot, and either your own fishing rod or rent one (Lake Chabot) has rentals.
I decided to just go online and buy my own rod for around 40 dollars. Since I never had a rod before, I didn’t know what to expect when I got. So when I got a rod that was broken at the tip, I didn’t realize that it was broken. Thanks to the internet, and youtube. I was able to figure out how to fix the fishing pole, and learn to spool a reel, while casting. 
On saturday, we all got out to Lake Chabot around 9am. 
Which is not a good time to go fishing because all the fish will most likely have fishing eating, and are hanging at the bottom of the lake. However, we tried for 3 hours to catch something, and all we got was a little fish from derrick.
As they went to bbq the food, I went to catfish landing and tried to change my luck. I met a couple other guys there that were trying to catch fish too! They told me they had been fishing since 6am, and had caught nothing.
We had planned for a lot of food, in case we didn’t catch any fish. So we had a lot of food. Then to finish off the night, I spent my day just relaxing.
What do I think about fishing? I think it kind of sucks. Well at a lake it mostly sucks if you don’t go at the right time. However, since I am very competitive. I will try to catch something at Quarry Lakes.
