flight of the curved path

PTL, (Praise the Lord or was it Pastor Tim Lee?), I finally got an internship, and its really close.

So after getting those 2 rejection from those first set of interviews. I had my 2 interviews this week, and today was by far the best one. I woke up nice and early, I woke up at 7:30 am because I hear some people running around. And I had gone to sleep last night at 4:30am. It must have been because of my 4 hour nap on tuesday afternoon.

Today, I had my interview at Oro Loma Sanitary District. So essentially the wastewater plant. I notice that this year, the companies I went to all had shorter interview process then the ones from last year. My interview only lasted around 15 minutes, and I talked to 3 people at once. I like the old guy that I was working with becuase the first thing he said to the other people were “I like this guy because I’m from Castro Valley, so I know he’s a good kid”. So they took maybe 5 minutes within themselves to discuss and then congradulated me on being hired.

I found out that the job I’m getting won’t be really hard engineering, mostly basic. So I was told that I’m mostly going to be organizing engineering drawings. If I had some free time I could help the mechanical engineer also. So it looks like it will be a good job, with solid 15 dollar pay. And I think I will also get to be secretary from 12-1 at the sanitation district, because everyone will be away on lunch, so I will get to write the permits. The only problem is that I will need to take a lunch break from 1-2, but that’s all good.
