Dad’s First day of Chemo

Today was my dad’s first day of chemo. So I left work early to go to the place. It is kind of weird going there, because you see a lot of other people going into chemo. Now I can see why doctors could be really sad and downtrodden when looking at the world full of people. All they get to see are sick people who don’t look the healtiest. Sad smile

So I was listening to the nurse talk to us about what to do to help my dad. There is really not much I can do, except make sure that everything is clean. So in my mind, I know what I have to do. It will be a lot of work for me, but I can do it, because I want to give my dad the best chance.

For work, it looks like I will be doing half days, going in around 11 am. I will be helping my dad in the morning, then doing the same thing at night when I come back from work.
